What Is a GPA Calculator?

This GPA calculator converts your academic performance — whether you know it as a percentage, or as marks across your subjects — into an equivalent GPA on the 4.0, 5.0, or 10.0 scale.

If you already know your percentage, use "Percentage → GPA". If you only have your subject-wise marks, use "Marks → GPA" and the calculator will work out your percentage first, then convert it to GPA.

GPA Conversion Formula

Once your percentage is known, GPA is calculated using the following formulas depending on your scale:

10.0 Scale
GPA = Percentage ÷ 9.5
5.0 Scale
GPA = Percentage ÷ 20
4.0 Scale
GPA = Percentage ÷ 25
